Navratri festival : Noida Police enforces restrictions from October 15 to 31 placed restrictions under CrPC section 144 in view

In anticipation of the Navratri celebration, which will be held in Noida and Greater Noida from October 15 to October 31, Noida Police implemented restrictions under CrPC section 144, according to PTI.

Order issued ahead of Navratri, specifies

According to the directive given in advance of Navratri, no religious activity, including namaz and puja, is permitted in public settings unless it has been approved by the police.

Any controversial place where religious rituals, such as puja and namaz, have not previously been practised will not permit them, and no one should urge others to do so.

"No one would insult the religious texts of other faiths," the decree reads. No one would hang religious flags, posters, or banners on the walls of houses of worship, and they would not encourage others to do so.

The beginning of Navratri is on October 15, Maharaja Agrasain Jayanti is on October 23, Dussehra is on October 24, Maharishi Valmiki Jayanti is on October 28, and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's and Acharya Narendra Dev's birthanniversaries are on October 31.

Hridesh Katheria stated in the order for CrPC 144 restrictions

DCP (law and order) additional In the decision for CrPC 144 limitations, Hridesh Katheria observed that because Gautam Buddh Nagar routinely hosts government programmes and examinations, as well as rallies and demonstrations, it cannot be ruled out that antisocial individuals may disrupt the peace.

He said, “In view of the above, the possibility of disturbing the peace by anti-social elements cannot be ruled out… At present, peace can be disturbed due to protests by various party workers, Indian farmer organisations and various protesters."
